Gardens and Farm
Kirkley Hall is a stunning rural estate which provides a great learning environment for our students as well as a being a place the general public can enjoy.
Our gardens exceed four hectares and include the National Fagus (Beech Tree) Collection, a Victorian walled garden, a large collection of unusual trees, shrubs, herbaceous and ornamental borders, sunken and woodland gardens and 1,330m2 of amenity and commercial greenhouses.
Our garden centre grows a range of plants for sale to the general public available at the Orangery Tea Shop.
The estate also has a working farm with livestock and arable crops. Students are actively involved in managing the farm giving them valuable knowledge to prepare for work in the agricultural industry.
